Knibbe, Serio named Conference Players of the Week

The NCFA Great Lakes West Conference announced the Week 3 Players of the Week yesterday, and they both wear Maroon and Gold.

Wide receiver #2 Sawyer Knibbe earned Offensive Player of the Week honors after hauling in 4 catches for 53 yards, 2 of those for Rambler touchdowns in a tough fought 23 - 34 loss.

Linebacker and Captain #32 Vincent Serio earned Defensive Player of the Week honors after another exciting performance. Serio finished the game with 5 tackles, 2 hurries, 2 hits on the quarterback and added an interception returned 41 yards for a touchdown.

Loyola will be in action again in week 6 when they travel to Peoria, IL to take on division rival RMU, which handed the Ramblers two big losses last season.
